Of couse your blanket has to be with you too!
The older girls still love to spend time close to Mom and Dad. All of our kids have a special blanket they love. Caroline's is her Taggie which she has had since she was 6 months old. She has slept with it all but one night since we got it for her. Yes, it was Mom and Dad's fault that they left it at daycare. And she will tell you that too! Julia has a baby blanket that has giraffes on it. It was a extra blanket that her daycare had to swaddle babies and she loved it so much that they let her keep it. Sarah's blanket is one I ordered after noticing how she would rub her hands and face on really soft fabric. We got hers when she was about a year.
Brian and I have talked about how we wish we had something as adults that gave us the same security and "everthing will be alright" feeling that the girls get from their special blanket.
