Warm Weekend!!

We finally had some warm weather here in Wisconsin for the first time this summer. With the temperatures in the low 90's today.
For me this is summertime weather and I really don't mind the heat. It reminded me of our trip to Savannah and Tybee Island, Georgia a few years ago.

We spent a few days there together with my parents.

It also reminded me of the Mary Kay Andrews book Savannah Breeze. In the book is a cocktail recipe for a Blue Breeze. My Dad made it for us one night on Tybee and with the weather being so warm it sounded so good tonight that we bought the ingredients and mixed two to enjoy tonight.
Hmm...maybe moving south where it is warmer year round might not be a bad idea!

Blue Breeze Cocktail
Pour into cocktail shaker:

4 ounces lemonade
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce blue curacao

Shake, pour over tall glass of cracked ice, top with seltzer, and stir. Garnish with lime slice and 3-4 blueberries threaded on a cocktail pick.
