Sarah Grace's Birthday Party

On Saturday we had Sarah Grace's first birthday party. It was a beautiful day and she had tons of fun!!

The Foamerator

Caroline and Julia went to a birthday party last week and they did this activity that was lots of fun! It is called The Foamerator.

Garage Door

Of course this had to happen while Brian was gone.

I decide to close the garage door at about 6:00 pm after the kids come in from playing and are having dinner.

I close the door and walk away. As I'm getting in the kitchen I hear a clunk noise. Hmmm...not good. I open the door to find....

Yes, the van is inside the garage and unless I can get the door back on the track I will be stuck at home.

I call Brian to have him call his friend--Super Bob as he is known by the kids. He comes over (thankfully) and helps me get the door up and I pull the van outside.

He helps me get the door back down so that it is at least closed for the night. Now doesn't that look great!

With Sarah Grace's birthday party this weekend we will be calling someone to come and fix it.

Where's Daddy?

Oh, yeah, he is on a business trip again. I'm not happy about that at all.

Sarah Grace it is hard to believe that you are a year old today. You have grown up so much and learned how to do so many things in 12 short months.

After a rough pregnancy and delivery, we all were excited when you were able to come home!!

We enjoy watching you grow and learn each day.

You are loved by many for your cute smile and loving personality.

Both Caroline and Julia have an American Girl Doll. Caroline's is Samantha, who unfortunately was retired last year, and Julia's is Kit.



For her birthday from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Jim she got the pajamas to match Kit's.
