Only Sarah would ask Brian to draw with chalk on the sidewalk with snow on the ground and temperatures in the teens.

It didn't last long as the chalk was small and hard to hold with mittens on. Or so I'm told. I stayed inside where it was warm.

Valentine's Day

We had a good Valentine's Day. I even tried to make small pizzas in the shapes of hearts. Yep, I think I will order from the pizza place next year.

Science Fair

Caroline and Julia did a science fair project together this year - Crazy Crystals. We were so proud of them. After the presentations we took them out to eat!

And as you can see some of the blue dye spilled on the carpet! This is after using our carpet cleaner. And yes, I'm the one that spilled it. It looks better now after doing many different type of treatments.

Catch Up Posts

Yes, I know I've neglected posting for awhile. So, the posts over the next few days will be photos that happened in January and the beginning of February.

And as you will notice Sarah makes quite a few appearances in the Wordless Wednesday post. She is our spirited child that keeps us on our toes!

For Caroline's birthday she wanted a woodworking book so that she could spend time with Brian doing "woodworking projects". Julia got her the book, a Home Depot gift card, hammer and a tool belt type thing. Yes, I'm not good with the woodworking lingo.

The first project was a tool box!

Julia's Dance Rectial

Julia had her dance recital on the same day as the older kids Christmas program. Amazingly we were able to make everything work!!

You can tell she enjoys dancing so much.
