Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!  I can't believe I didn't do a post yesterday about Easter.  Must've been an oversight.  We attended the Branch's church in the morning and lunch was followed at their house filled with family and fun.

The warm weather a week ago had everyone in shorts and t-shirts.  Sarah Grace and I spent time at the park with some friends from church.

A girl has to have sparkly sunglasses.

Don't worry Mom.  I've watched the big girls do this.

Everyone can't wait for the warm weather to return.

Family Movies

We like to have family movie night at least once a month and it can be tough to find a movie that we all would enjoy.  Red Box makes renting movies easy and inexpensive!  I got Brian a Blu-Ray DVD player for his birthday in November, so it makes watching movies even better! 

Here are a few of the titles that we've watched over the last few weeks and months:



Rated: PG  Everyone enjoyed this movie.  Very funny!



Rated: G  Amazing true story

Rated: PG Grandma Weber watched this one with the girls and said it was pretty good.

Rated: PG  Cute story and the way they did the filming is pretty cool.

Rated: G  I think we need to get this one.  Great story and has a wonderful message especially for girls.  Of course after all my Catholic schooling I had to laugh at some of the part with the nuns.

Rated: G  My all time favorite movie.  I loved the Muppets as a kid and still do as an adult!  I'm still able to sing along with many of the songs.  Of course, one of the kids favorite parts is Fozzie Bears "fart shoes".

Easter Egg Hunt

A few Mom's in our subdivision put together an Easter egg hunt for the kids on Saturday March 31st.  It was a chilly morning with the temperatures in the low 40's.  That didn't keep everyone from having a blast!!

Alice in Wonderland

The girls elementary school puts on a musical every 2 years in which the 4th and 5th graders are the actors.  This year it was Alice in Wonderland Jr.  Caroline was a daisy flower.
